Startup Night

College education is no longer just about memorizing books and sitting behind desk. Students can gain valuable contacts and experience during their studies and the most perky can even start their own business. Five of Prague's largest universities and colleges also follow the trend, and together with other partners they have created a unique inter-university event called Startup Night. It will bring together university students with innovators, social entrepreneurs and other interesting personalities. The
Spring Startup Night will take place at the OC Máj conference premises on Národní třída street in Prague in the evening of 6 April. The event will be in English and will be attended by international students.
In the beginning of last year's December, the first meeting was attended by selected startups from Charles University, University of Economics, Czech Technical University, Czech Technical University, Czech Technical University and also the startup Skychatters nominated by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre of Prague. At that time, the event was held online due to anti-epidemic measures. Nevertheless, it was a success and more than 120 students participated remotely.
