Problems of human spatial representation from psychological point of view

Presenter: Dr. Julia Frankenstein, TU Darmstadt
The talk will be dedicated to problems of human spatial representations for visually normal people. The main problems related to this representations will be discussed (like cognitive maps, their development and their properties). Also descriptions of psychological experiments will be provided where the stress will be given on the practical issues related to individual properties of participants. In the following discussion we may discuss differences between spatial representations for visually impaired people and for visually non-impaired people. The talk will be based on research work conducted in last years.
