MAFIA Seminar: František Štampach (FJFI ČVUT) - On Lieb-Thirring inequalities for complex Jacobi mat

Srdečně vás zveme na další MAFIA Seminar. Hostem bude František Štampach (FJFI ČVUT) s přednáškou "On Lieb-Thirring inequalities for complex Jacobi matrices". Seminář se koná v úterý 3. 3. 2020 od 13.15 hodin v místnosti T112.
Abstract:
First part of the seminar will be devoted to a brief summary of the state of the art of Lieb-Thirring-type inequalities for Jacobi operators. In the second part, we answer two open questions raised by Hansmann and Katriel in 2011 that concern differences in these kind of inequalities when passing from self-adjoint to general possibly non-self-adjoint setting. The second part of the talk is based on a joint work with Sabine Boeogli (Durham University).
