TEMPORARY SHELTER, MOBILE BUILDINGS AND ENERGY SUPPLY

The presentation addresses the development of temporary and mobile buildings that combine rapid deployability, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. Case studies on thermal comfort in temporary shelters and hydrothermal performance of innovative wall assemblies illustrate design challenges and solutions for maintaining indoor climate stability in extreme conditions. The lecture also highlights mobile energy systems—such as portable solar power and hybrid units—supporting fast-deployable campuses for humanitarian, military, and emergency applications. The discussed technologies contribute to resilient, adaptable, and sustainable built environments in rapidly changing operational contexts.
