Qminers Quant Hackathon 2025

Are you passionate about mathematics and machine learning? Have you ever heard of algo trading and found it intriguing? Do you want to test your skills in a competition where the winning teams can take home a total of CZK 100,000 and compete against students from across the country? If so, the 4th edition of the Qminers Quant Hackathon 2025 is just for you – a competition that connects the world of data, algorithms, and technology with real-world challenges.
The hackathon is divided into two phases.
The first phase (November 7–28, 2025) will take place online. You’ll get access to validation data, which you can use to test your betting strategies and track your results in our system. You will implement your solutions in Python, and evaluation will be based on your virtual profit. This phase is crucial – it will help you get familiar with the data, experiment with developing predictive models, and discover which strategy works best.
The 20 individuals or teams with the best results will advance to the final – an in-person hackathon, which will take place on December 6, 2025, from 9 AM to 6 PM at FEL ČVUT in Prague. In this phase, you’ll receive a new test dataset and will again be able to fine-tune your solutions in real time while tracking how you compare to the other teams.
