1. Teachers’ Club: manim: Mathematical Animation Engine

Teachers’ Club is the series of informal meetings of CTU lecturers at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. This time, the meeting will focus on Manim: Mathematical Animation Engine.
Some say having effective lectures is more about the materials provided for the student than about the lecturer. Eye-catching animations and illustrations are key especially in the beginner mass courses, where we need to overcome uneven starting grounds of the fresh students. Vojtech Vonasek, lecturer of the Algorithms and Programming course, uses the “manim” library to illustrate how data bubble through structures when algorithms work. Come join us at an interactive workshop to walk you through “manim” basics, together with some tips and tricks of course.
