Cybersecurity Horizons 2024

Join us aboard a stylish liner where top experts, innovative researchers from Czech technical university and key players in the cybersecurity field will meet.

This conference offers a unique opportunity to connect academic sphere with industry partners in an environment that inspires new ideas and collaborations. With the Vltava River and Prague Castle in the background, you can hear the latest findings in the field of cybersecurity, share your experiences and discover opportunities for future projects. A special „Call for action“ section will allow us to present challenges from practice, to which we can find solutions together with teams from CTU.

What’s in store for you?

Place: the Klára ship, Marina na Františku, Prague (the date and location will be communicated to you by email about 10 days before the event)

Dress code: Dress code: Business casual

17:45 – 18:00 | Commencement of boarding, Welcome drink

18:00 – 19:00 | Opening remarks by the organizers and presentations by selected PhD. students
After a short welcome, our PhD. students will start the presentation of their current research projects and visions for the future. Chosen PhD. student will have the opportunity to present their topic and explain how their work contributes to the development of cybersecurity.

19:00 – 21:00 | Cruise, buffet and networking
From 19:00 we will set sail for an evening cruise through Prague. A rich buffet with a selection of specialties, especially Czech cuisine, will be prepared on board. During the cruise you will have plenty of time for informal discussion, exchange of ideas and networking with experts from different areas of cyber security.
