Invited lecture by security expert Bruce Schneier (Harvard University)

CTU will welcome Bruce Schneier, internationally renowned security expert, cryptographer and author, for an invited lecture on current questions in cybersecurity, trust in digital technologies, and the broader societal impacts of security in today’s technological world.

The specific topic of the talk will be announced later. The lecture will be held in English. Registration required (see below).

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Bruce Schneier is an internationally renowned security technologist, cryptographer and author, called a “security guru” by The Economist. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including his latest book Rewiring Democracy, as well as hundreds of articles, essays and academic papers. His newsletter Crypto-Gram and blog Schneier on Security are read by more than 250,000 people.

Schneier works at the intersection of security, technology and society. He is a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, a Lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, Chief of Security Architecture at Inrupt, Inc., and a board member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Access Now.
