CYCLE OF LECTURES OF WORLD EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University is organizing a new CYCLE OF LECTURES OF WORLD EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING.
We will open the cycle with an online lecture on new trends in so-called thermal medicine "Optimizing Thermal Medicine with Recent Engineering Tools: from Multiphysics Parametric Modeling to Photothermally-Enhanced Immunotherapy".The lecture will be presented by Dr. Paolo Maccarini, Ph.D. (Duke University, NC - USA), who is one of the world's leading experts in the introduction of microwave technology in medical therapy and diagnostics.
In his lecture, Dr. Maccariny will focus on the presentation of recently developed technologies for improving the treatment of cancer. The principle of these technologies will be demonstrated based on multiphysics modeling.
