ACDRC Silicon Photonics Design and Analysis

(1-week on-site summer school focused on photonics)
The lectures are led by Prof. San-Liang Lee (NTUST), Prof. Shih-Hsiang Hsu (NTUST), Dr. Ming-Wei Lin (TSRI), and Tung-Yu Su (Synopsys). Practical labs will take place in the Cadence computer laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
This course offers a unique opportunity to explore new design techniques for photonics devices and to learn about the design software used to design photonics chips.
Teaching format: 2h lecture + 3h practical labs (Mon-Fri)

Credit evaluation (for FEE students): 2 credits
Place: FEE CTU in Prague

The course is free of charge.
This workshop is organised in the frame of The Advanced Chip Design Research Center (ACDRC), which aims to foster innovation and collaboration in semiconductor research and education between Taiwan and the Czech Republic.
